‘Porcelain Doll’ Pumpkin Seeds grow best in warm, loose, fertile soil. To direct seed, sow the seed at a depth on 1 inch after danger of frost has passed or when Soil Temps reach 70º (F). Hills of 6 or 8 seeds may be planted 8 feet apart and thinned to 3 or 4 plants. Planted in rows with a spacing of 8 to 10 feet, sow 2 seeds every 2 feet and thin to the best plant per spot. Watch for pests which will decrease yields. Make sure the plants have adequate moisture and weeds are controlled. Harvest the pumpkins before frost by cutting them from the vine. Store in cool, dry place to maintain their quality for weeks.
