This Lotus creates a lily pad of about 3′ FEET in diameter! Big enough to fit Ms. Piggy too!

From each Stem Grow large, fragrant Pink Flowers, which ultimately become the Seed Pod.

GROWING:

Although the Seeds and Rhizomes are edible, we sell these for Planting in a Shallow Pond, Pool, or Body of Backyard Water.

It may be considered to be Tropical, but it can be grown in cooler zones (down to Freezing) as long as the rhizomes can be covered and protected.

It’s hard Seedcoat (rind) requires scarification- (notching), Germination takes up to 15 days. The seed or the root section should be anchored to bottom of your Pond/Pool.
