How do you know when to bloom?

I’ve checked the guides but theres so many nuances of detail I can’t figure out.

Also here is some examples of my current problem
Its so hard for me to tell the difference between nutrient deficiency, nutrient burn, overwatering, underwatering.

    Any ideas?

    https://imgur.com/A9cX0jU

The stalks with leaves are about thumb width (idk the size seems small to me for some reason)
Its between 1 month and 2 months old I think. Probably 6-8 inches in length.
Temps ranged under 65 sprouting. Then 60-75.

Again, this problem I can’t figure out along with when to bloom.

Thank you so much. I don’t have a greenthumb and come November will be 2 years of me unsuccessfully able to grow.

THAT’S NOT A POPPY- IT’S A NATIVE WEED that grows in your area.
The difficult part about starting them, is knowing what they look like once they come up (usually sprout within 2 weeks). During those 2 weeks, the seeds must remain in FULL Sunlight, under 65 Degrees, and Protected from Birds & Slugs (which should NEVER be under-estimated), and also moist soil, but ventilated.
-Depending on the Temps when planting, will depend on what sort of “Protection” to use. If temps drop below freezing, the plastic Cup (or Bin) method works great (as seen in our Main Tutorial – especially section 2 & 3).
-If temps are warmer, I’ll use a Fabric or Netting SEEN IN THIS TUTORIAL from our Blog (which must be a few inches above the seed, to keep Beaks out, and allow them room to grow.)
-I find that native weeds are always first to appear (well, since they’re WEEDS), so you need to gently remove them (or cut their stems), because poppies don’t like Competition. See our Blog Post about Poppy I.D.-ing (use our Split Image Slider Function -if on Desk/LapTop)
      More in our BLOG
      Thanks!

Hello Just wondering if the Afghan GMOs will supply viable seeds? and will they hold the same genetic traits that make them so desirable?

    Thanks

Yes, of course. We take extra care to preserve their original Genetics. Their always first to bloom, so nothing else blooms during their blooming period (which is the period in which pollination occurs).
I know they’re pricey, but last year we sold out.
We price our seeds based on 2 things that we cannot control:
-1.) Supply (Mother Nature; global warming, storms, pests, etc) and
-2.) Demand (Human Nature; we have no way of knowing what people will buy each year.
We ran out about 2 months prior to our next harvest, and although I’ve heard complaints on the Price before, it’s NOTHING compared to the Complaints we got for running out of stock for 2 out of 12 months that year! LOL
      -Hope this helps!

But didn’t for some reason. So I did manually.
I have also issued a Shipping Fee refund of $6.41 since I will combine them. Tracking sent to your email.

Hi I placed an order for the exotic mix? Feel free to replace it with something else of your choosing.

I read the post on your Facebook page about having to fill all the orders yourself during this covid-19 crisis, I understand the delay… it’s just that I really need to get these growing and in the ground soon in order to avoid having my plants reach maturity during the hottest days of July.

    Order Number is: #61510

Tracking has been sent to your email. (please allow up to 48-72 hours for USPS movement to update, which is usually once it gets to the Sorting Facility on the Mainland in Seattle)
The Post Office here on Vashon Island, WA, the place in which we ship from, does not have a Sorting Facility.
ALSO, THIS GOES FOR ALL CUSTOMERS: If you aren’t able to get your seeds growing due to starting Late, please document your experience, let me know, and I will gladly refund or credit you.
Also, see our blog for Plenty of Tutorials, including one that gives you Tips on Starting Late Season/Warm Weather HERE.
